I began in real estate at the ripe age of 18. Right out of high school I started work at Century 21 in Glastonbury Village Green. I was this little girl in the big world of Real Estate. My first few months were difficult. Having to borrow gas money to get to my appointments I felt like I was spinning my wheels and not moving forward. Little did I know that a sales contest, with a winning prize of a trip to New York City, would propel me to where I am today. Being 18, I thought it would be amazing to not only win the title and prestige of the contest but to also win the trip. Having never been to NYC I strategized to get my 10 transactions in one month in order to win. The result was – I won! I found that setting a GOAL helped me achieve what I truly wanted. From that point on, I spent every month setting and attaining goals. Shortly I began to know the key secrets of being a real estate agent. In a few short years, I had surpassed all of my goals, making me one of Century 21’s “Top 10 Producers” in the State of Connecticut. It soon became apparent that my business model outgrew me as I experienced tremendous growth in the industry. I concluded that what I really wanted to do was create my own team of agents while I maintaining my own personal referrals. My team flourished and my business grew. Many agents wanted to be on my team and ultimately they asked if I would open my own firm. My team and I wound up being the founding agents of Executive Real Estate, and thus, my new business entity. We immediately became one of the largest independent offices in our local Realtor market. Executive Real Estate is now over 10 years old with 126+ agents and five offices throughout Connecticut. I am forever grateful to my clients, Past and Present, for instilling their trust and support in me and My Company!
